NEED

Our client, a leading aerospace manufacturer, heavily relies on the Flight Test Management (FTM) system, a critical .NET Windows application for managing extensive flight test data and generating detailed reports. Recently migrating their infrastructure to Office 365 for enhanced productivity and collaboration, they client faced several compatibility challenges with the FTM system.
These issues included Crystal reports failing to export correctly, functionality issues with existing Excel macros across various machine architectures, and compatibility problems during Excel file exports across different machine configurations.

SOLUTION

To address these challenges, our team undertook the following initiatives:
We enhanced Crystal Reports by analyzing and modifying templates for Office 365 compatibility and implemented Crystal Reports service pack SP26 across 32-bit and 64-bit environments to resolve export issues. Additionally, we reviewed and revised existing Excel macros, ensuring they functioned seamlessly on all platforms.
